Itinerary

Day 1 : Wine Sampler
Visit 4 of Central Otago’s premier cellar doors and sample the best cool climate wines the region has to offer. -Tour the wine cave at Gibbston Valley and try some spectacular local cheeses at the Gibbston Valley Cheesery if time allows. -Stop at Kinross for lunch and tastings -A hidden gem run by true local Kiwis at Mt Rosa -Last stop will vary depending on the day. This compact 5 hour wine tour is jam packed full of fun, interesting facts and delectable delights. Wine tastings & presentations at 4 wineries/cellar doors in Gibbston. Optional lunch at a premier winery (at your expense) Complimentary Queenstown hotel transfers **Please note these stops may change should one of the vineyards not be available to the public for the day**

Pickups / Departures

  • 7 days a week
  • Departure is 10am from Central Queenstown
  • Main Departure address is outside The Station Info Centre on the corner of Camp and Shotover Streets
  • Other pick up locations and times:
  • 10.05am Millenium bus stop Copthorne (both), Pounamu Apartments, Oaks Club, Hensman Road bus stop, Rees Hotel
  • 10.10am Sherwood/ Goldfields bus stop, Marina bus stop
  • 10.15am Frankton bus shelter (Hilton customers to get the 10am Hilton shuttle to drop them at the Frankton bus shelter)
  • 10.20am Shotover Country (School carpark-Stalker rd), Lake Hayes Estate (outside The Hayes Restaurant)      
  • Please ensure customers are ready and waiting 10 minutes prior to pick up time to ensure we are on time for any other pick ups
  • Tour returns about 3pm

Extras

Lunch at one of the stops is at the customers expense (time is allocated to sit down and eat)

Please note the extensive menu has options for everyone - whether you want an inexpensive nibbles or a hearty lunch.
